You fellas are fantastic!! Wonderful harmonies, great musicians (and extremely charming, I might add). My friends and I had such a good time on Saturday, as apparently everyone else in the joint did too....please let me know when you're playing again in NOTL.. I'll bring more people - we'll kick up our heels...!
Cheers,
Jenn

  Nov 13th:

We were saddened to hear of the loss of our friend Jerry Gonnelly who passed away Friday November 10th after suffering a head injury from a fall. We had the pleasure of meeting and playing music with Jerry who appeared with Two Roads Home at the Pirate Festival this summer. As a tribute to Jerry I have attached a copy of a recording of us performing together at one of the evening tavern sings. This was a spontaneous collaboration with Two Roads Home (less Bryan Williston who had to be away that day). Abby Zotz and Jerry were holding their own performing that day and we all enthusiastically decided we would just sing "Old Maui" together without ever practicing. Jerry is singing the lead with Abby and Ceol Cara singing backup. I hope you enjoy it - Cheers Jerry, you're safe in the harbour now.

Sept 26th: Ceol Cara is back into the studio beginning next week to continue work on the recordings we began earlier in the summer. Lots on the go around my place as I prepare to move house shortly. (Not one of my favourite jobs!) That will interfere with the studio work a bit, but we'll work around it. We had a fun summer and look forward to getting at this project back on the rails.
Sept 12th: Greetings, and welcome to our new web page! I hope everyone had a safe and fun summer. I know the band had a blast playing throughout the summer months. We particularly enjoyed playing at the Pirate Festival in Old Fort York. If you are interested in hearing a bit of what went on, I dragged out my digital recording gear and caught the last two day's performances, which included Ceol Cara, Two Roads Home, The Merry Wenches of Windsor and the Tavern Sing each night when all the cast joined in. I've listened to it and it turned out pretty good, so I've been talking to Rick and Alicia about producing a CD of the material. Stay tuned for further details! As far as our own CD, progress continues now that we've got some time freed up, we'll be heading back into my studio to try and finish off some of the tracks we started at the beginning of the summer. I'll keep everyone posted. A special thanks to everyone for their support (and all the great photos) - Bryan
